Community Safety Conference

When: August 24, 2019 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Where: Columbus State Workforce Deelopment Building, 315 Cleveland Avenue

The objective of the conference is to bring together Franklin County Law Enforcement Agencies with residence from around the County. Thus providing an environment to network, build trust and learn of best practices on how to reduce crime, personal safety and create a healthy safe neighborhood.

 

Workshops include: Body Cameras, Community Policing, Gang Awareness, Opiate Epidemic, Crime Prevention, Personal Safety, Senior Citizen Safety, Self Defense, Mental Health, Therapy K9, Safe Neighborhoods, Human Trafficking, Non Profits making a difference, Internet Crimes, Active Shooter, LIVE PD, K9 Unit, Media Help or Hurt,

 

Immediately following the Conference will be a Touch-A-Truck event from 2:30pm – 5:00pm. A fun family focused event where you will be able to see up close multiple police agency specialty vehicles, along with having a good time meeting with the various police officers.
