The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is changing the way you visit with loved ones who are incarcerated at the Franklin County Corrections Center II located at 2460 Jackson Pike in Columbus, OH.  The Corrections Division has partnered with GTL Viapath Technologies to shift from in-person to virtual visits.  The change will make it possible for you to have more frequent visits with an incarcerated individual without leaving the comfort of your home.  
    
You have two options to utilize the new visitation services. 

First, visit https://franklinOH.GtlVisitMe.com/app to register online and schedule a visit. 

Second, download GTL’s Visitation App in the Google Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.com.renovo.vismobile&hl=en_US&gl=US by searching “GTL Inmate Visits.” 

You must download BOTH Apps.

The FCSO will provide incarcerated individuals with two, 20-minute virtual visits a week at no cost.  In addition, there is a low-cost option of purchasing additional virtual visits and other items available on restricted access tablets assigned to FCCCII housing units.  


FACILITY NOTICE: INMATE MAIL GOING DIGITAL

Effective May 28th, 2024 Physical Mail Address Changing

Inmate mail is going digital. The address that friends and family use to send personal mail to inmates will change. The new address below will NEED to be used after this date. Going forward, mail received will be scanned and delivered electronically as an attachment to the inmate in the facility
message app that is on the tablet.

Other Information for Visition

Printed materials (magazines, books, pamphlets, leaflets, or catalogues) MUST fit all the below criteria:

  • Be a new soft bound book or magazine (no used books or magazines)
  • Ordered directly from a verifiable commercial distributor, publisher, or retailer (such as Amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, etc.)
  • The inmate's full name must be on the address label
  • The printed material must be sent via the United States Postal Service (which means we will NOT accept packages from UPS or FedEx)
  • All material must be unaltered from the original form
  • All material must be pre-paid

Printed materials will be rejected if sent from a private party, if it is sent through a private carrier, or is material other than books or magazines mailed through bulk rate.

The traditional rules apply in that you cannot send material that could promote or incite lawless action, is pornographic in nature, promotes violence or discrimination, or has any gang related material.

Additionally, FCSO will no longer accept underwear, socks, or t-shirts.  Starting February 18, 2019 contact solution or reading glassess will no longer be accepted through the visitation window.  Inmates will have to purchase these items through commissary.

Pictures will be accepted via U.S. Postal Service only.

Money Orders, US Postal or Western Union only, made payable to an inmate can be received, but will be placed in the inmate's personal property

Inmates are permitted to make only one (1) money release every seven (7) calendar days.
