Lucy

Lucy, our German Shorthair Pointer, was born on 08/24/2020, and came all the way from Austria! Lucy is very loving and has a very energetic personality, which is probably why she loves going to work and training outdoors.

When Lucy isn’t working, she can be found chewing on a FreshPet Chunky Beef treat and chasing around her favorite toy – a giant tennis ball. While she is a part of Crisis K9, Lucy will also work with our Project Life Saver program to assist in locating lost citizens.

Luna

Our gentle giant is Luna, a 9-month-old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. True to her breed, she is very loving and loyal. She also loves embracing her goofy side when she is working at her high school (Franklin Heights) and when she’s running around on her farm. Despite having a high energy personality, Luna is eager to please and only wants to do the right thing.

Luna was built for cold weather, so she gets hot very easily and enjoys cooling off in mud puddles around her farm and being sprayed with a hose. When she’s not rolling around in the mud, Luna enjoys a daily stick to chew on, playing with her handler’s kids, and really loves her beauty sleep.

After living on her farm for a while, Luna has finally learned not to chase the chickens around, but she still likes to steal their eggs for her afternoon snack. It’s part of the reason why she has lot of nicknames: Lunatic, Luna Looney Tunes, and Lazy Luna!

Mando

Mando is our loyal and playful Boxer, who was born on 4/28/2024 in Orville, Ohio, on the appropriately named Boxer Boulevard!

Mando's name comes from the popular Star Wars character, the Mandalorian. Like the Mandalorian, Mando is action packed, often found playing with his favorite toy – a tennis ball. When he's not chasing his ball around, Mando loves to spend his time off work zooming around the yard and taking long naps on the couch.

Mando's soulful eyes and big heart allow him to easily connect with everyone he meets, which helps him offer people comfort whenever they need it most.

Scooby

Scooby is one of our two Australian Labradoodles who was born on July 19, 2024, and he is two weeks younger than his best buddy and half-brother, Titus! He came to us from Magnolia Labradoodles in Bucyrus, Ohio.

True to his namesake, Scooby is silly and as carefree as he looks. While he loves a good Scooby Snack, the one thing Scooby loves most in the world is playing fetch with his tennis ball. Even if his ball goes missing, Scooby embraces his mystery-solving nature by always finding it, no matter what! He is never without his tennis ball and can be seen with it first thing in the morning, right before bed, and sometimes even in the middle of the night! When he’s not busy playing with his ball, Scooby loves meddling around with his friends and relaxing with his family.

Sunny

Sunny is our 8-year-old Golden Retriever, who was born in Juliet, Illinois, on July 7. He loves his job and takes it very seriously. As soon as his vest is placed on him, he has a quiet dedication in his eyes, as though he understands the impact he has on the lives of those he helps.

Sunny is incredibly affectionate and eager to please, which allows him to build immediate trust with the people he comforts. When he's not working, Sunny loves tennis balls and water – whether riding on the boat or lounging in his own personal swimming pool.

Titus

Titus is our loveable Australian Labradoodle who just turned 1 on July 7, 2025! Like all Australian Labradoodle, Titus is a mix of cocker spaniel, lab, and poodle. He was bred by Magnolia Labradoodles in Bucyrus, Ohio.

Because of his playful personality, Titus loves to have lots of fun and adventures and can often be found chewing on his bones and playing ball with his best friend Scooby. When he's outside of work, Titus loves chasing his 3 human brothers around his house. Titus’s cuddly and affectionate personality makes him perfect for providing comfort for those who need it most.
