Public Affairs | Media Relations

The Public Affairs/Media Relations Division works as an intermediary between the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and the general public. Media Relations is responsible for facilitating, coordinating and producing all public facing communications, such as: scheduled interviews, press conferences, speeches/presentations, photographs, videos, and graphics for social media, public pamphlets, certificates and other media, and multi-media projects designed for public viewing (podcasts, weekly community show, etc.)

Comprised of a Director, Communication Specialist, Photographer and Videographer, the Media Relations Division is committed to presenting a high-quality and unified message for the Sheriff’s Office through social media, partnerships with news media and other public communications.
