Sheriff Dallas Baldwin states that the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a critical injury traffic crash that occurred at approximately 12:04 pm on 10/08/2026.
A white 2024 Hyundai SUV was westbound on State Route 665. A 2012 maroon Dodge 1500 pick-up truck was eastbound on State Route 665. The Dodge crossed the center line striking the Hyundai. The force from the impact shoved the Hyundai up onto the guardrail.
Deputies from Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, and Medics from Jackson Twp Fire responded to the scene. The driver of the Dodge was the only occupant and transported to Grant Hospital by Jackson Medic #202. The driver and passenger of the Hyundai were transported to Grant by Jackson Twp. Medics 203 and 204 in critical condition.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the crash.
