National Drug Take Back Day is coming in October!

You can get rid of any unneeded prescription drugs safely and anonymously. They will accept prescription medications, ointments, and over-the-counter drugs and medication. The goal is to make your home and community safer by properly disposing of unneeded drugs.
There will be dozens of collection sites open around Central Ohio.

Sheriff Dallas Baldwin states that the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal injury crash that occurred at approximately 1:48 am on IR270S one half mile south of Tuttle Crossing, in the City of Dublin, Washington Township, Franklin County, Ohio.

05-15 Sobriety Checkpoint in Franklin Township

The Franklin County DUI Task Force and the Ohio Highway Patrol will conduct a sobriety checkpoint between 8:00 pm and 12:30 am.
The Task Force wants to impress upon those who will be consuming alcohol to plan for a designated driver or make other arrangements.

A sobriety checkpoint is scheduled TODAY, Friday, May 1, 2026. The checkpoint will be on Georgesville Road and Clime Road, located in Franklin Township.

The Franklin County DUI Task Force will conduct a sobriety checkpoint between 8:00 pm and 12:30 am.
