Fingerprinting

These services are by appointment. Schedule an appointment online at Book Appointment (timetap.com).

Electronic and ink fingerprints are taken in the CCW office by appointment only. Please ensure that you book the correct service, as the appointments are not interchangeable. If you need a CCW appointment, please refer to the Services tab of our website and select Concealed Carry Permit.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office does not provide public parking. Parking is the sole responsibility of the customer and is available at the Commons Garage (directly across the street), or at the many meters and paid lots surrounding the building.

In addition to any instructions, codes, and forms that you have, you must also bring a valid government ID to your appointment.

FEES & PAYMENT

Fees are non-refundable and can be paid as EXACT cash, Cashier's check, or money order made payable to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

FINGERPRINT CARDS

• $10 per card (you only need one appointment, regardless of the number of cards needed)

WEBCHECKS

• $35 – BCI
• $35 - FBI
• $70 - BCI & FBI

ON OCTOBER 1, 2026, THE PRICES WILL INCREASE TO:
