On April 8, 2025, at approximately 7:45 p.m., deputies from the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and officers from the Clinton Township Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at the Northern Lights Shopping Center, located at 3349 Cleveland Avenue in Clinton Township.
The first responding officers found a 19-year-old male victim outside a convenience store, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his lower extremities. He was transported by medics to a local hospital in serious condition.
A second shooting victim, an 18-year-old male, was located a short distance away with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported by medic to a local hospital in critical condition.
Sheriff's Office detectives investigating the case believe the two incidents are connected and were targeted attacks.
No arrests have been made, and the case remains under active investigation.
