FCSO Investigates Fatal Crash Involving a Pedestrian

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal injury traffic crash involving a pedestrian that occurred in Mifflin Township at approximately 5:33am on October 10, 2025.

A grey 2000 Chevy Blazer was westbound on Agler Rd. approaching Stelzer Rd. While traveling west, the Chevy struck an adult male in the roadway. Deputies from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Officers from Gahanna Police Dept., and EMS/Fire from Columbus Division of Fire responded to the scene. The driver of the Chevy was not injured and stayed on scene. The pedestrian was transported to Mount Carmel East Hospital in critical condition by CFD Medic 28. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased by Mount Carmel East staff at 6:08 a.m. on 10/10/25.
