On July 10, 2025, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office Specialized Tactics & Investigative Narcotics Group (STING) executed two unrelated residential search warrants in Franklin County, resulting in multiple arrests and significant drug seizures.

The first warrant was executed in the 3900 block of Wintercrest Court. During the search, detectives seized approximately 302 grams of cocaine, 88 grams of fentanyl, and uncovered a marijuana grow operation in the basement containing approximately 133 plants.

Isaac Hillis, 31, of Columbus, was arrested and charged with first-degree felony possession of drugs. Nacheyl Geer, 21, was also arrested at the scene for child endangering. Two young children—a 6-month-old and a 1.5-year-old—were present during the search. One child, who resided at the home with a parent renting a room, remained at the residence; the other was released to a grandparent.

Detectives executed a second, unrelated search warrant in the 4400 block of Sherwood Forest Drive in the Havenwood Community. This operation led to the seizure of approximately 5.2 kilograms of suspected fentanyl and $11,752 in suspected drug trafficking proceeds.

Kevin Contreras-Tapia, 25, was arrested and charged with first-degree felony possession of drugs.

These cases are not connected. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office remains dedicated to safeguarding the community and disrupting illegal drug activity.
