The Special Deputies of the Franklin County Sheriff's Office are citizens who volunteer their time and equipment to assist the Sheriff's Office. The Special Deputies undergo the same training as regular deputies. Mounted Deputies and Bike Patrol Deputies are also a part of this unit. Personnal consist of (50) deputies.
