sheriff baldwin recognized at the 2nd annual netcare awards & recognition dinner

Sheriff Baldwin was among those recognized at the 2nd Annual Netcare Awards & Recognition Dinner held at the Columbus Museum of Art.  Sheriff Baldwin's commitment to helping those struggling with mental health and substance abuse disorders is evidenced through the creation of the Community Intervention and Diversion Unit.  A specialized team of deputies who respond to individuals in crisis.  Not only has the CID unit saved substantial taxpayer dollars in the associated costs of incarcerating those that have a mental illness, it has positively impacted the lives of hundreds of individuals by linking them to the help that they so desperately need.
