A native of Columbus, Ohio, and a product of Springfield, Ohio, is a man of dedication and vision. He pursued his higher education at Central State University, a Historically Black College and University in Wilberforce, Ohio, where he majored in English Literature. Currently, Aaron serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for the Franklin County Sheriff's Office (FCSO), a role that he approaches with unwavering commitment. With a rich community engagement and advocacy background, Aaron brings a wealth of experience to his role, where he is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment within the FCSO. His work focuses on implementing DEI initiatives, creating strategic partnerships, and developing programs that enhance the agency's cultural competence and community outreach. Aaron's passion for social equity and community empowerment and his ability to inspire positive change make him a pivotal figure in driving FCSO's mission to serve all community members with fairness and respect.

Prior to his current role, Aaron made significant contributions in various positions. At The Ohio State University's Todd A. Bell National Resource Center on the African-American Male at the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, he created DEI initiatives and community and mental health programming, led mentoring programs, spearheaded cross-cultural community platforms, and fostered positive relationships with students on the path to college graduation. His impact was also felt at the Columbus Metropolitan Library system, where he served as a Learning Center Specialist in the Northland community of Columbus. Under his leadership, a multicultural academic program for kindergarten-12th-grade students achieved a remarkable 100% high school graduation rate, with over 94% of students continuing their education at a college, university, or trade school. Aaron's 15-year tenure as a motivational speaker, addressing audiences at religious worship places, juvenile detention centers, and local businesses, further underscores his commitment to community engagement and empowerment.

Outside of his professional life, Aaron is a proud resident of Pickerington, Ohio, where he finds solace and joy in his personal life. He cherishes spending quality time with his beautiful wife and two children, who are his pillars of support. His leisure time is shared with Milo, the family dog, who is his faithful walking companion. Aaron's diverse interests include songwriting, music production, and watching movies. However, his greatest joy comes from spending time with his family and listening to music, which he finds to be a source of relaxation and inspiration, reflecting his values of love, togetherness, and creativity.
