Mary Walker is the Administrative Assistant to Chief Deputy Marvin Hill in the Recruitment, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Division. She has worked for the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for over 15 years. She has worked in various division in her 15 years from Warrants and Extradition, Civil Division and 8 years in Human Resources.
 
She started out at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office wanting to make a difference, not in the forefront as a deputy but as a civilian. She wanted to serve her community in small ways in the Sheriff’s Office, with one smile at a time.
 
Her why is wanting to make a difference with people, one smile at a time. To always try to find the positive. And no matter what, never give up, keeping moving forward, keep believing and keep learning. You never know what someone else has experienced, and sometimes just a smile can make someone’s day!
 
Her true passion is her family, she has a freshman and sophomore in high school. She is always her kid’s cheerleader, whether in their sports, school achievements or church; she is their #1 fan. During her spare time, Mary enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, landscaping, drawing, photography, and riding her motorcycle with her husband.
