Sgt. Cora Day began her career with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office in 2009. During her tenure, she has served in the Corrections Division, DARE/ Community Relations, Patrol, and now as a sergeant in the Recruitment, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Division. Prior to joining the FCSO, she was enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Sgt. Day is a fifth generation Buckeye as a double major of Criminology and Sociology from The Ohio State University. She credits her family, friends, and hometown of Bellefontaine, Ohio in providing a unique environment of acceptance and appreciation.
Her various knowledge with the Sheriff's Office and her diverse experiences contribute to the potential and success of future applicants.
